Lifting Spirits This Season: Our Christmas Charity Run 2024

At Hoistech, we’re used to lifting heavy loads — but every now and then, it’s the lighter lifts that matter most. Our recent charity run for the Children’s Health Foundation gave us the chance to do just that.

We set out to collect toys, clothes, and books for children in need, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our team, partners, and friends, we didn’t just hit our target — we knocked it out of the park!

Step One: Gathering the Goodies

For our Christmas Charity Run 2024, we decided to make donating as simple and seamless as possible. We set up a donation link and shared it with our staff, customers, and suppliers — and the response was nothing short of brilliant! Contributions came in steadily, with everyone eager to play their part in helping the children who won’t get to spend Christmas at home this year.

With the generous funds raised, we put our plan into action. After a few phone calls:

Every purchase felt like a step closer to making a child’s Christmas that bit more joyful.

Step Two: Delivery Day

Yesterday morning, with the cars packed to the roof, we made our way to the Children’s Health Foundation in Drimnagh. The welcome we received was heart-warming to say the least. We unloaded toys, books, and clothes, knowing that soon they’d be in the hands of children who need them most.

The joy and gratitude from the Foundation’s staff were a reminder of how even the smallest gestures can make a world of difference. It was a privilege to play our part.

Go Raibh Míle Maith Agaibh!

To everyone who donated, supported, or cheered us on: go raibh míle maith agaibh! We couldn’t have done it without you. Your kindness and generosity made this whole experience as smooth as can be.

At Hoistech, we believe in looking out for each other — it’s just the way things should be. We’re still accepting contributions. All details in the below image

Until then, let’s keep the spirit of giving alive. You never know whose day you might brighten.
